KitchenAid Stove Error Code

Sometimes KitchenAid stove on the control panel may issue a specific error code. Some faults can be repaired manually, while others require specialized intervention from the RA Appliance repair. We will look at common KitchenAid stove error codes in chart below.

Failure Code:

F0 – E0

Failure in the analog to Digital

Solution:

Disconnect for 30 seconds – if display re-appears – recommended to replace control
F1 – E1

Safety flip flop

Solution:

Recommended to replace Electronic Range Control/Clock
F2 – E0

Keypad shortened

Solution:

Recommended to replace Electronic Range Control/Clock
F3 – E0

Oven temperature sensor or oven temperature sensor fuse opened

Solution:

Recommended to replace oven temperature sensor or fuse
F3 – E1

Shortage in the oven temperature sensor

Solution:

Recommended to replace oven temperature sensor
F3 – E2

Oven overheating

Solution:

Recommended to replace oven temperature sensor
F3 – E3

Clean temp too hot

Solution:

Recommended to replace oven temperature sensor
F5 – E0 F5 – E1 and E2

Inspect door/latch switch

Solution:

Recommended to replace component
F0 or F1 or F5

Transistor failure

Solution:

Recommended to replace Electronic Range Control/Clock(ERC)
F2 – E0

Oven’s temperature is overheating

Solution:

  1. Check operation of door lock on self-clean models
  2. Check relay contact operation
  3. High resistance in oven temperature sensor
F3

Oven temperature sensor is open or thermal fuse

Solution:

Recommended to replace oven temperature sensor or thermal fuse
F4

Oven temperature sensor shortage

Solution:

Recommended to replace oven temperature sensor
F6

Problem in time keeping circuit

Solution:

  1. Reset time and/or cooking operation
  2. Inspect for proper ground
F7

Function switch is jammed or button on Electronic Range Control

Solution:

Recommended to replace Electronic Range Control/Clock

Electronic Range Control failure

Solution:
